NZ Diamonds fine diamonds and beautiful Jewellery should meet or exceed your expectations. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we are pleased to offer a thirty (30) day return policy on all purchases made on-line for non-customized goods.  This means all goods you have ordered that have been customized for you can not be returned.

If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return an item that has not been customized in its original condition within 30 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. It’s that simple.

To return an item:

  1. Email sales@nzjewellers.co.nz to receive a return authorization number, and a return application form, or alternatively telephone NZ Diamonds/NZ Jewellers on 09 277 7746, international callers call 0064 9 277 7746.
  2. Complete the return application form.
  3. Secure your item(s) and all the original packaging, include the return application form, the packing slip, and if appropriate the diamond grading report, if the grading report is not returned you may be liable for the $250 replacement cost, in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (the post office has these available if you do not). For security reasons, do not write NZ Diamonds/NZ Jewellers anywhere on the outside of the box, no reference to Jewellery or diamonds should be made at all. It is very important that you insure your package. We will provide you with the address for return shipment once we have received your email.

On your invoice, if the price of the item you’re returning is listed as: Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination. More than $500: Ship your package via the Postal Service Registered Mail, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached NZ Jewellers.

Please note that FedEx, UPS, TNT, DHL will not insure merchandise over $500, unless you have insurance arranged with a third party such as Brinks.

Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweller other than NZ Diamonds/NZ Jewellers), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no NZ Diamonds/NZ Jewellers return code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.
